Visualizing Climate Dynamics: A 3D Exploration
"In an immersive endeavor to bring climate data to life, this project utilizes Blender's 3D modeling capabilities to illustrate the changes in temperatures over time. I have transformed historical climate data into a tangible landscape of prisms, where each column represents a year, and each prism's height mirrors the day's temperature (every third day is presented). Each prism has been crafted from a unique dataset, originating from a weather station in Prague and spanning across more than a century. The data was meticulously processed and transformed into a comprehensible visual format, with the aim to highlight the fluctuations in winter temperatures over the years. The result is not only a compelling piece of art but also a powerful tool for communicating climate change. This visual landscape invites viewers to delve into a deeper understanding of our changing climate, transcending the boundaries of traditional data presentation and bringing forth the sheer impact of climatic shifts in an intuitive and engaging way."
